MASSIVELY LIGHT

BIGGER AND LIGHTER

The JMX UltraLite™ swing grip was created to be massively light: 20-25% lighter than skinny grips. For golfers looking to max out their speed, UltraLite grips can help by reducing the overall weight of the club.

Developed for demanding golfers who want enhanced clubhead awareness, the UltraLite provides all the stability and control of a JumboMax® without reducing the swing weight.

TRI-TEXTURE

The JMX UltraLite debuts Tri-Texture™ with specially designed surface details placed in specific areas of the grip to boost performance, feel, and all-weather playability.

WHAT BRYSON SAYS

“I used these grips to win the 2020 U.S. Open. They’re everything I could want in a swing grip. They’re simply the best of both worlds and they help me max out the distance with every club in my bag.

I just love the way the UltraLites feel. They’re firm, stable and don’t tear up my hands even with all the hours of practice I put in.”

1st time using jumbo grips, so much easier to grip the club, swing the club, and have the club face square at impact.
Don't know why I waited so long to try them.

Initial Review - Cannot miss the center of the face

I will preface this review by saying I am 48 years old and currently carry a 10 handicap index. Swing speed with Driver is somewhere in the 105mph range and can dial it up to 108+ if I really go at it. This year I played a lot of rounds and recently started to get some pain in my right wrist and in my knuckles on my right hand. Purchased and installed the JMX Ultralite, in medium size according to the online fitting guide, on my driver yesterday and took it out for a range session today. Admittedly I did miss the center of the face with my old grip from time to time with most of my misses being on the toe. I hit 20-30 shots with the JMX today and I could not have missed the center of the face if I tried. It even had that crisp sound to it like a center strike does. With that being said a good portion of my shots did fade with some more than others. I think this had more to do with my natural swing being like that creepy uncle no one talks about......a little handsy. This grip doesn't really let you do that. I was able to get some baby draws on the ball after a while of practicing. Most importantly I had zero pain in my hand or fingers and the ball was absolutely flying. I'm not 100% sold on swapping for all of my clubs yet, but I cant wait to practice some more with it and maybe play a round or two. I'm thinking this could be a switch for me. Update to follow!

Amazing

I was using the Winn Excel Oversize grips since I have some arthritis in my right hand but I was still continuing to pull some of my shots, especially woods. I took the gamble on ordering the XS Ultralite Blackout and had trouble with them for the first 2 weeks and now my game has never been better. I'm a 14 handicap and finally broke 80 for the 1st time with these grips. I'll admit, they took a while to get used to because I like a heavy feeling club and the bigger grip, regardless of the weight staying the same, made my club feel lighter, but i continued to hit the range and mess with my grip on these and finally found what works. My drives are longer and my approach shots are way more accurate than before. My misses went from a pull and sometimes a slice, to only a high hanging fade. Now that i know what my miss is, i can play holes a way to know where I'll be safe if i miss. I love these grips and my hands sure do as well. I don't have fatigue and they also prevent me from having to grip it with pressure. Just a smooth swing and the club does the work. I recommend these to everyone, regardless if you have hand problems. They are great.

No more Shifting!

I've been plagued by slicing. it seems like with half of my golf shots, the club shifts in my hands. Since installing my JumboMax grips, I haven't had a single shot shift in my hands and my slice is much less pronounced.

recommend 100%

Excellent grip for all shot shapes + More distance

4 index here, I have had these grips for 3 range sessions so far... My stock shot shape is a fade/cut, and I can work the ball either way on command... Despite what many have said about larger grips, they DO NOT make everyone start slicing the ball or magnify a fade/slice, in fact, quite the opposite is true for me... The larger grips reduce a lot of tension in your hands allowing for a better release of the clubface, and making it easier to keep the face square... For me, my stock cut is now straight or a slight draw due to a smoother release and being able to keep the clubface square more easily... I can still work the ball either direction with minimal effort, flight it down, launch it high, everything just the same, and with less stress on my hands... A full range session (100-120 balls) usually cramps my left hand, but not with these grips... For reference, I wear a standard Large glove, and use the Medium JM grips. (or a Small built up to a Med with +6 wraps)... Love these grips, total game changer for me, they are on all clubs now, wish I had these 20 years ago!
